Holly Hill man killed in ATV crash in North Florida

Crash happened on a private dirt road near Crandell Road

A 55-year-old Volusia County man died after an ATV he was driving crashed in Nassau County on Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the single-vehicle crash happened around 5:17 p.m. near Crandell Road.

According to a crash report, the man was driving the ATV south on a private dirt road near Crandell Road when the vehicle left the road and overturned.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The crash remans under investigation.
