DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police on Sunday asked drivers to avoid a portion of Atlantic Avenue (A1A) following a crash.

The public was advised to avoid Atlantic Avenue southbound from Harvey Avenue, Daytona Beach police said on social media, adding “roads are closed due to an accident.”

Around 2:50 p.m., the police department issued an update, stating “roads are open.”
