DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Volusia’s public transit system Votran will modify its routes for the Daytona 500 weekend, according to a news release.
Votran said it is expecting increased traffic around Speedweek activities and is making adjustments to avoid potential delays.

The route modifications are as follows:
Friday daytime service
- Route 11A: Will not serve Thames Road, Daytona Flea & Farmers Market, or Fentress Boulevard. Outbound from International Speedway Boulevard (ISB), the route will take a right on Williamson Boulevard to resume regular routing.
- Route 18 Outbound: Will not serve Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University or the Daytona Beach International Airport. Outbound from ISB, the route will take a right into the first entrance of the Volusia Mall to resume regular routing.
- Route 18 Inbound: Will not serve Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University or the Daytona Beach International Airport. Inbound from the Volusia Mall, the route will take a left on ISB to resume regular routing.
Saturday daytime service
- Route 10: Will not enter the Volusia Mall parking lot. From ISB, the route will take a right on Bill France Boulevard, then a right on Dunn Avenue to resume the regular route.
- Route 11A Outbound: From Bill France Boulevard, the route will take a right on ISB, then a right on Williamson Boulevard to resume regular routing. It will not serve the Volusia Mall, Fentress Boulevard, Thames Road, or the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market.
- Route 11B Outbound: From Bill France Boulevard, the route will take a right on ISB to resume regular routing. It will not serve the Volusia Mall.
- Route 11A/B Inbound: From Bill France Boulevard, the route will take a left on Dunn Avenue to resume regular routing. It will not serve the Volusia Mall.
- Route 18 Outbound: From ISB, the route will take a right on Bill France Boulevard to resume regular routing. It will not serve Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the Daytona Beach International Airport, or the Volusia Mall.
- Route 18 Inbound: From Bill France Boulevard, the route will take a left on ISB to resume regular routing. It will not serve the Volusia Mall, the Daytona Beach International Airport, or Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Friday – Saturday night service
- Route 10N: Will not serve the Volusia Mall. Outbound from Bill France Boulevard, the route takes a right on ISB to resume regular routing.
Sunday service
- Route 10S: Outbound and inbound will remain on ISB and will not serve the Volusia Mall. No service to the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market, continues on ISB. Inbound, continues to stay on Bill France Boulevard.
