Rain chances on the rise for Easter weekend

Orlando to reach upper 80s later in week

ORLANDO, Fla. – We are pinpointing a new storm system that will bring changes to the Central Florida forecast.

Expect high temperatures in the mid- to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies Wednesday in Orlando. The average high in Orlando for this time of year is 83. The record high is 97, set in 2020.

The storm system, however, will increase rain chances in the Orlando area to 40% from Thursday through Easter weekend.

Expect high temperatures in the upper 80s through the weekend.
