Orlando to reach highs near 90 over weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – We are pinpointing changes to the weather Thursday as an area of low pressure spins off the Florida coast.

The low will bring a high rip current risk for the next several days, and seas will increase to close to 9 feet offshore.

The wind will kick up at times near 30 mph or greater, and there are small craft and high surf advisories in effect.

High temperatures in Orlando will be in the mid-80s. By the weekend, high temperatures will reach 90 degrees.

The normal high temperature in Orlando on this date is 88. The record high is 96, set an 1892.

Expect rain chances at 30% on Thursday and 40% on Friday. Rain chances dip to 20% over the weekend.
