Ian: County-by-county impacts in Central Florida

Strong storm system will hit the area with heavy rain and dangerous winds

ORLANDO, Fla. – Hurricane Ian, now Tropical Storm Ian, will continue to bring heavy rain and dangerous winds over the next few hours for Central Florida.

Ian made landfall as a strong category 4 storm Wednesday afternoon in southwest Florida. As of 5 a.m. Thursday, it has weakened to a tropical storm.
