Orlando to reach high in upper 80s

ORLANDO, Fla. – We are pinpointing warm temperatures and a chance for a few showers across Central Florida.

Highs will be in the upper 80s Wednesday, with a 30% chance of rain after 2 p.m. The average high temperature in Orlando on this date is 81.

Expect highs in the low to mid-80s for the end of the week, with slight rain chances over the weekend.

Pinpointing the tropics

Lisa is likely to become a hurricane as it moves closer to the Yucatán Peninsula over the next couple of days. The storm will not impact the U.S.

Tropical Storm Martin will remain a fish storm as it churns north of Bermuda.

The next named storm will be called Nicole.

Hurricane season ends Dec. 1.
