ORLANDO, Fla. – Great weather is expected this weekend for Halloween activities across Central Florida.
The weather is looking wickedly wonderful, with a few showers and highs in the mid- to upper 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
The Halloween forecast will surely make you scream!
We’ll see abundant sunshine through the day, with increasing winds between 10-15 mph out of the northeast due to an approaching cold front.
During the evening hours, trick-or-treaters are in for a treat. We’ll see a few clouds, with a 20% chance for light showers.
Temperatures around 6 p.m. should be in the low 80s. After that, we’ll begin to feel temperatures in the upper 70s across the area, under mainly clear skies.
It’s won’t be too warm or cool for Halloween costumes.

Temperatures for the most part will be a touch above average as we go through the next several days, leading up to Halloween.
But this won’t be the hottest Halloween on record.
In fact, Orlando, Sanford and Leesburg saw the hottest Halloween ever in 2019.
In Orlando, daytime highs reached 91 degrees on Halloween in 2019. The record before that was 90, set in 1922.
The coolest daytime high on record in Orlando was 66, set in 1993, and the coldest low was 44, set in 2012.
This Halloween is expected to remain mainly dry for now. Sanford has been the wettest so far on Halloween in Central Florida with 3.86 inches of rain observed in 1958.
The past 11 years have been bone dry in Orlando on Halloween. The wettest Halloween in Orlando was in 1958 with 2.29 inches of rainfall.
