Cooler temperatures and rain are on the way next week

ORLANDO, Fla. – This weekend’s forecast is sizzling!

Expect temperatures to soar into the lower 90s, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying outdoor activities. However, don’t get too comfortable in the heat, because change is on the horizon.

Saturday's highs

A cold front is set to sweep in on Monday, bringing relief from the sweltering temperatures along with scattered rain and thunderstorms. By Monday afternoon, highs will drop into the lower 80s, resulting in a refreshing change from the brief heatwave of the weekend.

There is a low severe weather threat on Monday. A “Marginal Risk” has been placed for few counties, meaning that a few thunderstorms could turn strong to severe.
