ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will have nice weather this weekend. On Saturday, Orlando’s afternoon high will reach 84 degrees, while coastal areas will see highs in the low 80s.
Expect northeast winds picking up to 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Due to these strong winds, hazardous conditions will persist along the coast through Sunday night with a high rip current risk and a small craft advisory.

The east coast sea breeze may bring a few showers and storms Saturday afternoon. Sunday will be another calm day, with highs in the mid-80s and a chance of some showers.
For the upcoming week, the weather will stay generally quiet, but rain chances will increase to 40-50% from Wednesday to Friday.
In the tropics, we’re monitoring three areas: one in the northern Atlantic with a 60% chance of tropical/subtropical development in the next two to seven days, another near the Greater Antilles with a low, 10% chance, and a third in the southwestern Gulf where chances have risen to 50% in the next two days and 80% in the next seven days.
A tropical depression is likely to form in the southwestern Caribbean Sea this weekend or early next week.
