Cold front making its way through Central Florida

Following the foggy morning, a cold front is anticipated to push through Central Florida as we move from the late morning into the afternoon. The satellite and radar images appear quiet for now, but the front hanging to the north and west could bring some changes.

As it moves through, be prepared for isolated showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures today are expected to climb, reaching daytime highs of around 75 in Cape Canaveral, 74 in Daytona, and up to 79 in Orlando and Kissimmee.

Thursday highs

Once the cold front passes, skies are expected to clear Thursday evening, setting the stage for a lovely Thursday night. Looking ahead to the weekend, there’s a slight chance of rain but overall, conditions may support outdoor plans.

The weekend forecast looks to turn cooler with wakeup temperatures starting off in the 40s.
