You can now add widgets to your mobile devices

ORLANDO, Fla. – The News 6 Pinpoint Weather App is constantly evolving to provide you with the best user experience to get reliable and accurate weather information.

The latest update for both Apple and Android now allows you to place widgets anywhere on your phone so your forecast and other weather information are available at a quick glance!

There are nine unique styles featuring different sizes and weather information.

If you don’t have Pinpoint Weather App, download it for FREE by searching WKMG in the app store. Once downloaded, you can add the app’s widget.

For iOS Users

To add a widget on iOS devices:

  • Hold your finger down on an empty space until the apps begin to shake
  • Select the edit button that appears in the top left corner of your device
  • Select add widget
  • Search News 6 Weather in the search bar
  • Select the desired widget and tap the ‘add widget’ button

For Android Users

In addition to the current and forecast widgets, Android users can also add radar widgets.

To add a widget on Android:

  • Hold your finger down on an empty space until a box pops up
  • Select widgets
  • Search News 6 Weather in the search bar
  • Select the style of widget you want. Tap add.

You can move the widget on both Apple and Android devices by holding your finger down on the widget once added and moving it to the desired place.

Tapping the widget will take you directly to the Pinpoint Weather App where you can interact with live radar, watch video forecasts and dissect other weather content from the Pinpoint Weather Team.

Think you don’t need the Pinpoint Weather App? That stock weather app that comes your device is run solely by computers. The forecasts will flip-flop as the raw model data changes.

The Pinpoint Weather App is updated multiple times a day by trained News 6 meteorologists ensuring the most accurate forecast in the palm of your hand.

Updates for the app come out frequently so always make sure you have the latest edition of the app to ensure you are getting the latest features.
