Record heat and storms ahead in Central Florida

Scattered rain and storms are expected Monday night into Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is in for a weather roller coaster, with a sunny and clear weekend expected to give way to potential storms come Monday night.

Monday night through Tuesday morning, a cold front is expected to bring increased rain and storm chances.

As we wrap up the weekend, temperatures will be close to record highs. Sunday is expected to hit around 92 degrees while Monday might reach 91 degrees, getting close to historical records from 2022 and 1908.

Despite the heat, it’s not all bad news for beachgoers.
