Live entertainment will be featured throughout the festival from 22 musical groups and two Celtic dance troupes, according to event organizers.
“In addition to all the music on stage, the Festival’s two pipe bands, Rosy O’Grady’s Highlanders and the City of Mt. Dora Pipers, lead daily parades by all the attending Clans and fill the air with the sound of bagpipes,” organizers said in a release.
Be sure to catch the Highland Games competition on Saturday and a sheep-herding competition on Sunday.

And don’t miss out on the dog parade!
“If your dog is an Irish setter, a Welsh corgi or a Scottie dog – or you just want to dress your pup in plaid – bring them out for the fun. All breeds are welcome! Just bring a donation or food for Sophie’s Circle Dog Rescue and your dog will be entered in the parade,” Ormond Beach event organizers said.
There’s going to be a kick-off party Friday at 7 p.m. at Fletcher’s Irish Pub.
