Summer break is almost over. Here’s when each of these Central Florida counties go back to school

Most districts start back on Aug. 12, with some exceptions

ORLANDO, Fla. – The start of the new school year is less than a month away and soon all of the students will be back in the classroom.

Most school districts across Central Florida start back on Aug. 12. However, some have different back-to-school dates, so the exact days in which school is back in session varies across counties.

Below are the dates that students are scheduled to return to their schools, according to the districts’ academic calendars.

  • Brevard County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Flagler County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Lake County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Marion County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Orange County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Osceola County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Seminole County: Monday, Aug. 12
  • Sumter County: Wednesday, Aug. 14
  • Volusia County: Monday, Aug. 12
