Fire crews contain 100-acre brush fire in Daytona Beach; no injuries reported

Fire reported in the area north of Margaritaville

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A 100-acre brush fire in Daytona Beach near the Latitude Margaritaville community is now contained, according to a news release.

The fire was reported north of Margaritaville, in the area of Tymber Creek Road and LPGA Boulevard.

Fire crews said on Sunday that the fire did not threaten any structures and no injuries were reported.

According to the release, the Florida Forest Service helped the Daytona Beach Fire Department bring the fire under control.
