ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s a foggy start this morning under mostly clear skies. Any fog that develops before sunrise should burn off by around 8 a.m., leaving us with dry, sunny conditions for the rest of the day. High pressure is still holding steady, with highs climbing into the upper 70s to near 80 today.
Tuesday night, it’ll be cool and clear again, with morning lows in the 50s, right around normal for this time of year with another round of patchy fog possible west of I-95.
Looking ahead into Thanksgiving, we are expecting conditions to remain warmer than normal as a weakening front falls apart across northern Florida. Highs will remain in the low 80s with a few clouds around with lows in the 50s and 60s.
Whether it’s a Turkey Trot Thursday morning or dinner outside, the weather will cooperate for all outdoor festivities on your Thanksgiving.
As prices drop at the store on Black Friday, so will our temperatures as the first of a series of cold fronts begin to roll in.
The first one will pass through Friday night, bringing cooler, drier air. There’s a slight (20-30%) chance of showers along the front, especially in the afternoon and evening. Temps will drop in the wake of the front, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
By Saturday, temperatures will be back to normal in the 70s, although the far northern counties may struggle to hit 70. Overnight lows will be in the 50s, with some areas north of I-4 possibly dipping into the upper 40s.
A second cold front is forecast to pass Saturday night into Sunday, bringing even colder air to the region. Expect below-normal highs on Sunday and into early next week, with highs possibly staying in the 60s with lows in the 40s.
Far northern parts of the area could even see some upper 30s by Tuesday morning.
