FOGGY start as Central Florida nears 80. How long will the heat last?

Warm weather expected to continue through February

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida began the day under a blanket of fog with a dense fog advisory in place through the morning hours due to limited visibility.

As the fog dissipates, temperatures in the area are set to rise, reaching near 80 degrees inland and upper 70s along the coast.

While most areas will remain dry, a few isolated sprinkles can’t be ruled out due to a stationary front hovering overhead.

Overnight lows will be mild, dipping into the mid-60s.

The warm weather isn’t just a one-day affair.

Forecast calls for a continuation of the warm stretch, with temperatures staying in the low to mid-80s throughout the week. This stretch of above-average temperatures could persist through mid-February, suggesting a pleasant Valentine’s Day could be on the horizon.
