ORLANDO, Fla. – High pressure from the Western Atlantic is making its way across Florida today, keeping our weather on Wednesday nice and calm.
Early Wednesday morning, there’s a chance for patchy fog and low clouds, especially in areas that saw rain yesterday. Visibility could drop to as low as 1 mile in some spots, so be cautious. The fog should clear up by around 9 a.m.
Winds will stay light at first but through the afternoon, expect them to pick up from the southeast, around 10-15 mph, with gusts reaching 20-25 mph by the afternoon. You can also expect the sea breeze to push inland later Wednesday, keeping rain chances low. Temperatures will be on the warm side, with highs near 90 degrees for inland areas, and mid-80s along the coast.

Weekend:
High pressure will continue to dominate our weather, slowly shifting eastward over the next few days. Winds will stay from the southeast through the weekend, with the sea breeze pushing inland each afternoon.

Temperatures will remain well above normal, with afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s inland and low to mid-80s along the coast.
Next week:
A weather system in the Midwest will move eastward by early next week, bringing a cold front through our area Monday night into Tuesday morning.
This will introduce rain chances back into the forecast, starting Monday night with a 20-40% chance of showers and storms. The chance for rain will increase to 40-50% on Tuesday as the front moves through.

Expect cooler temperatures after the front passes, with highs on Tuesday and Wednesday dropping down into the 70s.

Long range models show another reinforcing shot of cooler air by Thursday, which could keep our temperatures near to below average for an even longer stretch.
