ORLANDO, Fla. – A warm and dry stretch will close out the week in Central Florida, but it’s not without concern.
With low humidity and breezy conditions in the forecast, the fire danger remains elevated across the area as any little spark could quickly start and spread a fire. Please stay fire-aware and follow your county rules on burn bans.

A high-pressure system over Florida is slowly shifting offshore, while a cold front remains well to our north over the Atlantic.
Afternoon sea breezes will develop each day, bumping winds up to around 10–15 mph along the coast. And with a surge of dry air moving in from the Atlantic, we’re looking at very low humidity, which not only increases fire risk, but also keeps rain chances near zero for the rest of the workweek.
We’ll see highs this week in the upper 80s to low 90s inland, while coastal spots stay in the low to mid-80s. Overnight lows stay comfortable in the 60s, with a few coastal areas holding near 70.

Looking ahead to the weekend, another cold front will try to move into the Deep South.
This small shift could bring a small chance of showers back into the forecast starting Sunday (10–20%) and increasing slightly Monday (20–30%), especially during the afternoon.
The extra moisture in the air, paired with daytime heating and sea breeze interactions, could spark a few quick showers.

Don’t expect much of a change to our temperatures this weekend and early next week, as highs will remain warmer than normal, in the upper 80s.
